Since Pat Britton opened their doors in July 1972, Britton Insurance has been offering a competitive, customer-focused insurance service not only in Donegal but nationally. From modest beginnings, their family-run business has grown to employ over 50 highly trained staff from their Donegal office. Pat, his daughter Nikola, and the Team take pride in assisting customers annually, shopping every one of 19,000+ policies to ensure they offer the right policy at the best price.

Insight Multimedia‘s Website Design and Development Team had worked with Britton since 1999 and, in fact, built five different websites over the years. We have evolved Britton Insurance’s online presence as the internet has evolved. The previous version of the website had been built with different code platforms (PHP, ASP, HTML, etc). Insight developed various booking forms, quotation systems, etc., as the industry changed and became more online-based. On the new 2023 website build, Insight decided to migrate the website functionality into a WordPress CMS system to allow for more flexibility for the Britton admin team when writing news and blogs and updating general information.

The Insight team designed and developed the new website with a new look, incorporating new branding and graphics to relay how up-to-date and versatile Britton Insurance’s approach is to get quick ‘cost effect’ insurance coverage online quickly and easily. The new website allows users to view the full range of Insurance policies that Britton supplies throughout Ireland and request cover ‘in just a few clicks’.
